Crisis in Egypt Tests U.S. Ties With Israel

This article fully demonstrates how powerful the pro-Israel lobby's grip on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East is. American politicians, and media outlets, refuse to embrace a just cause in Egypt in favor of the murderous regime there. Obama is no different. He must get on his knees and beg for permission to support the struggle for freedom in an Arab country. Despite there being no evidence that jihadists would take control of Egypt if Mubarak falls, this paranoid scenario is repeated over and over again by the politicians and the press. How tragic that America should not be allowed to fully support people's yearning to be free. Isn't that what we're about?
