Bill Gates: We Need More Foreign Workers

Lou Dobbs, champion of the American worker:

Microsoft's Bill Gates on Capitol Hill yesterday claimed that American firms need more foreign worker visas, even though Indian firms are the largest users of H1B visas. Transcript: Olbermann Denounces Clinton on Ferraro Scandal; Hillary Apologizes

These scorching words might have led to Hillary Clinton apologizing for Ferraro hit on Obama (Read entire comment here and see the video)):

Senator, as it has reached its apex in their tone-deaf, arrogant and insensitive reaction to the remarks of Geraldine Ferraro, your own advisers are slowly killing your chances to become president.

Senator, their words, and your own, are now slowly killing the chances for any Democrat to become president.

But in fact, Senator, you are now campaigning as if Barack Obama were the Democrat and you were the Republican.

As Shakespeare wrote, Senator, that way madness lies.

You have missed a critical opportunity to do what was right.

No matter what Ms. Ferraro now claims, no one took her comments out of context.

Hillary's apology. Why did it take so long:
"I want to put that in context. You know I am sorry if anyone was offended. It was certainly not meant in any way to be offensive," Hillary Clinton said. "We can be proud of both Jesse Jackson and Senator Obama."

[...]Of Ferraro's comment, Hillary Clinton told her audience: "I certainly do repudiate it and I regret deeply that it was said. Obviously she doesn't speak for the campaign, she doesn't speak for any of my positions, and she has resigned from being a member of my very large finance committee."
