Last night I watched the The Changeling. It's a movie about how those in power can wrongfully persecute the innocent to save face. Nada Prouty is a patriot who was wrongly persecuted by the U.S. government. She was made a scapegoat for a failed war on terror. You see, this government can't say they are failures. They see terrorists and spies everywhere. Prouty was a victim of a witch hunt. Since it is easier to punish one of our own, especially if they fit the profile. That's what they did with Bruce Ivins. The government couldn't find the Anthrax killers so they persecuted an innocent man until he committed suicide out of desperation. We see the same heavy hand at work in the case of Nada Prouty. She is a another convenient scapegoat for the failures of those who claim to want to protect us.

How is it that through out our history we have found fit to reward those who have fought for our country along side our military as non citizens by giving them citizenship. Nada Prouty has gone beyond the call of duty in her battle against our enemies. Her comrads in arms in the CIA and FBI have lauded her exploits. Now we reward her as a criminal but we have a government willing to give amnesty to Mexican gang members, now illegal aliens,citizenship if they just say the won't do it again.
I say bravo Nada Prouty you our a hero and deserve to be an honored citizen of the USA.
Does our government have the balls to admit was wrong and reward in the manner she deserves.
Nada Prout, you are my hero.
Nada Prouty endanger her life everyday fighting terrorism to keep the American Constitution that she loves, believes in, and was willing to die for, Intact. Our lives are safer today because Nada was there for us. Now Nada needs US to be there for her.
