Israel rejects UN vote approving Gaza report

Israel has a history of committing wartime atrocities. But you won't hear about it from the U.S. press or politicians. Don't want to be accused of a being an anti-semite. And if you are a politician and criticize Israel your going to lose your job.

The motion, drafted by Arab countries, raised the possibility of Security Council action if the sides do not comply.The 192-member world body approved the resolution by a vote of 114-18, with 44 abstentions and 16 countries not voting.Israel launched its offensive against Gaza's militant Hamas rulers in an attempt to halt years of rocket fire at Israeli towns.
