Drop Food, Water, and Medical Supplies...Now!

There is too much talking and debating. People are dying. If you can't get life saving supplies to the people and aid workers because of the road problems then parachute them in. In addition, military forces should also parachute in to protect the supplies that are being dropped in and insure public safety. They can also set up areas where equipment and supplies can be dropped along with areas where helicopters can land. Time is running out. It's to sit around and debate the virtue of this or that response. It is time to act, not debate. Currently, most of the life saving supplies are sitting at the airports. It is maddening to see journalists doing more to rescue people than professionals.

"There should be 600,000 humanitarian daily rations - basic nutrition packages that provide 2,300 calories - at Haiti's airport by Saturday evening. That's according to Tim Callaghan, the Obama administration adviser who is helping to oversee relief efforts in Haiti. The World Food Program has a plan to distribute the rations. Callaghan says water purification units arrived Friday night and that officials hope they will produce up to 300,000 liters of water. More water is coming from the neighboring Dominican Republic. Dennis McDonough of the National Security Council said 180 tons of relief supplies has landed in Haiti. THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP's earlier story is below. WASHINGTON (AP) - More food and water is on the wait to earthquake-ravaged Haiti. When it's a disaster, we should be concerned about the emergency medical supplies as these are necessary for people to be saved from death.

During time of disaster and calamity water, food and medical supplies are badly needed. It is the time when all government agencies especially the Department of Health are doing relief operation for all the victims. Medical supplies like mask, medicines, nebulizer etc. are being sent to the evacuation center to meet their medical needs. It is good to know that it is now easy to get all medical supplies because it’s already available online.
